Machine Learning Engineer — Applied Finance

We’re looking for an ML engineer who cares about precision, explainability, and real-world deployment.

At Aro, AI isn’t experimental—it’s operational. You’ll develop models for transaction matching, anomaly detection, cash application, and exception prevention. These systems will run in regulated environments, which means accuracy and transparency matter as much as performance.

What you’ll do:

• Build and deploy models for invoice matching and payment classification
• Develop anomaly detection systems for financial workflows
• Improve cash application accuracy across diverse datasets
• Design explainable model outputs that support auditability
• Monitor model performance in production environments
• Work closely with backend and product teams to integrate models responsibly

What we’re looking for:

• Experience deploying ML systems in production
• Strong grounding in statistical modeling and applied ML
• Appreciation for explainability and transparency
• Comfort working with structured financial data
