Backend Engineer — Financial Systems

We’re hiring a backend engineer to help build the core infrastructure that powers transaction matching, approval logic, audit logging, and secure financial workflows.

Aro operates in regulated industries. That means reliability, traceability, and precision are not optional—they’re foundational. You’ll work on systems that process high-volume financial data, enforce structured controls, and support production-grade compliance standards.

What you’ll do:

• Design and maintain scalable services for transaction processing
• Build robust matching engines for invoices, payments, and ledger data
• Implement structured approval logic and threshold enforcement
• Develop audit logging systems that are immutable and reviewable
• Optimize performance for high-volume financial workloads
• Collaborate with product and ML teams on intelligent workflow integration

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience with distributed systems and backend architecture
• Comfort working with financial data structures and transaction systems
• Deep understanding of data integrity and system reliability
• Appreciation for compliance-aware design
